Counting of votes of the states in the second round
In the second round, votes were counted for Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jharkhand. 1,138 votes were counted, in which 809 votes were cast in favor of Draupadi Murmu and 329 in favor of Yashwant Sinha. In the second round, Draupadi Murmu got 3,04,423 votes more than Yashwant Sinha.
10 states were counted in the third round
In the third round, votes were counted for Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha and Punjab. The total value of 1,333 ballot votes was 1,65,664. Out of this, 812 votes were cast in favor of Draupadi Murmu, whose total value was 94,478. Yashwant Sinha got 521 votes, with a total value of 71,186. In the third round itself, Draupadi Murmu achieved the necessary figures for victory. After the third round of counting, he got a total of 5,77,777 votes.
