Presidential election: Cross voting took place in Jharkhand, Yashwant Sinha got only 9 votes from Congress and RJD

In Jharkhand, Congress and RJD MLAs voted apart from party lines. Yashwant Sinha got only 9 votes.

Ranchi: In the presidential election, Congress-RJD MLA has voted for NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu by breaking away from the party line. Draupadi Murmu has got more votes for 10 MLAs than the figure fixed in the election. In the election, Yashwant Sinha got only nine votes in Jharkhand. The vote of either Congress or RJD became invalid. After the announcement of political parties and MLAs, there was support of 60 MLAs in favor of Draupadi.

But, the NDA candidate Smt. Murmu got the vote of 70 MLAs. NDA got half the MLAs in its favor from the fixed vote of UPA i.e. ruling party. There were 20 MLAs from Congress, RJD and ML in the state in favor of UPA candidate Yashwant Sinha. The JMM, NCP and independent MLAs had earlier announced support for Mrs. Murmu. After this it became clear in the presidential election that only 10 MLAs of Congress and RJD have cross-voted.

NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu had contacts with Jharkhand while she was governor. Mrs. Murmu also got the benefit of this. He had appealed for votes by calling the MLAs of Congress and JMM. Several legislators from the ruling party told that Mrs. Murmu's phone call had come to them.

The figures were in favor of Yashwant Sinha of UPA in the elections.

NDA takes half in 20 votes of UPA

Ranchi. The UPA had only 20 MLAs. The NDA dented this vote as well. The NDA made a tribal woman its candidate and political gambles took place. BJP leaders had appealed to the opposition to vote in the name of tribals. Tribal MLAs of Congress had faith. Along with this, the female candidate of Congress was also approached for the lady candidate Mrs. Murmu. RJD minister Satyanand Bhokta was also in touch with BJP leaders. MLA Bhanu Pratap Shahi had even written on social media that Draupadi Murmu would get 70 to 71 votes in Jharkhand.
