In a special campaign organized jointly by Patna Municipal Corporation's New Rajdhani Zone and Kankarbagh Zone on Sunday, 32 stalls built on government and private land were demolished. During this, two cows were caught in Nutan Rajdhani zone. On the orders of the High Court, by running a special campaign on behalf of the Municipal Corporation, potholes were broken in the surrounding area including Mithapur, Purandarpur, Jakkanpur of Jakkanpur police station.

Deputation of 20 male constables and 10 female constables

During this there was chaos. The Khatal operators were busy in collecting the items of the Khatal which were demolished. In this action, apart from the task force of the municipal corporation, police forces were also deployed along with the magistrate from the district administration. In this, 20 male constables and 10 female constables were deputed.

Nothing special happened

It took seven hours to remove Khatal. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the potholes were removed by campaigning in different areas of Jakkanpur police station. For the last three days, campaigning was being done from mike to remove the disturbance in these areas.

Therefore, during the action, there was not much opposition from the Khatal operators. Apart from the magistrate, Prabhat Ranjan, executive officer of Nutan Rajdhani zone, Rakesh Kumar Singh, executive officer of Kankarbagh zone, revenue officer, encroachment in-charge were present during the removal of the pothole.

Preparations intensified to deal with floods in the district, 209 shelters made

Patna. The district administration has made preparations to deal with possible floods in the district. In view of the threat of flood, 209 shelters have been made in the district. 10 government and 256 private boats, eight inflatable motorboats, 26210 polythene sheets, 1135 tents, three nets, 523 life jackets, six inflatable lighting systems, 164 trained divers, 188 search and rescue teams have been kept ready.

Formation of 11 Flood Relief Cells

Potential flood affected areas and vulnerable groups of people have been identified in the district. For relief and rescue, one company of SDRF and eight boats have been kept safe in Gaighat, Patna City and one company of NDRF and six boats in Didarganj Bazar Committee. For disaster management in the district, 11 flood relief cells have been constituted.
