Ashwini Vaishnav said that by the end of the day 4 rounds have been completed. He said that looking at the auction so far, it seems that this time the maximum revenue will come.

The process of auction is to be completed by August 14

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav further said that we have received revenue of Rs 1.45 lakh crore from today's auction. All the participants have participated in this auction. We have to complete this process by August 14 and 5G service will start in the country by September-October. It is being told that after the completion of the auction process for 5G, telecom companies will inform about its rollout. Jio, Vodafone Idea and Airtel are participating in the spectrum auction. Adani Data Networks of Adani Groups is also included in this race.


Initially 5G service will be available in these cities

According to the Department of Telecommunication, initially only 13 cities will get 5G service. The Department of Telecommunications has released the names of thirteen such cities, where 5G service will be available first. The list of these cities includes Bangalore, Delhi, Hyderabad, Gurugram, Lucknow, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, Gandhinagar, Jamnagar, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Chandigarh.
