Jharkhand is a state with vast possibilities. In this episode, the government is making constant efforts to connect the industrial and business activities here with the country and the world. Chief Minister Hemant Soren said these things while laying the foundation stone of World Trade Center in the core capital area of Ranchi today. He said that all the activities related to international trade especially export promotion will be conducted under one roof in the World Trade Center. This center will play an important role in strengthening the economic activities here.
Industrial activities going on for decades

Because of this industrial activities have been going on here for decades. Industries and companies of many industrial business group including Tata, Birla and Dalmia are established here. The builder of the country's industries and world famous as 'Mother Factory', HEC is in this Ranchi. The state has now stepped up to provide all facilities related to trade-export to these industries through the World Trade Center. Now these steps will not stop but will move forward continuously.
Special priority to strengthen the rural economy
The Chief Minister said that strengthening the rural economy is one of the special priorities of the government. In the rural environment here, people are involved in various activities. Many schemes have been started in the direction of taking them forward. In this regard, products made by women self-help groups have been brought in the market through the Palash brand. These products are available in big malls and shopping complexes. The government is working with a target to increase the turnover of Palash brand to one thousand crore rupees annually.
Efforts are being made to give direct benefit to the producers
The Chief Minister said that Jharkhand has a lot of potential in the field of forest products. So far it has been seen that due to lack of market for local products, people sell them at very low prices. At the same time, big companies of other states are buying these products and selling them at expensive prices in our own state. The government has taken this very seriously. Now the government is making an action plan in this direction to get direct benefit of the forest and other products to the growers.
There should be no migration for employment, giving work to people in their own home
The Chief Minister said that a large number of children from rural areas of the state migrate to other states for employment. There they are exploited. We have come across many such cases. The government is working to connect many girls taken hostage to employment by releasing them. The villagers should not migrate here for the sake of employment. The government is making continuous efforts in this direction to ensure that they get employment in their own homes.
Textile industry is continuously expanding due to agro-food processing
The Chief Minister said that from Agro Food Processing, Handloom, Handicraft and Tasar to Textile Industry, there is continuous expansion. Due to this, a large number of young men and women are getting employment here.
