He told that during this time the terrorists opened fire on the security forces and the encounter started. So far no casualty has been reported from either side, the official said. On the other hand, there is also a news that the security forces have arrested two hybrid terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Kupwara district late on Friday evening.

According to the Kashmir Police, an encounter has started between security forces and terrorists in the Wanigam Bala area of ​​Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir in the early hours of Saturday. Jammu and Kashmir Police has informed that an encounter of terrorists with security forces has started in Wanigam area of ​​Baramulla. Police said that the security forces have surrounded two terrorists.

Meanwhile, in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, security forces on Friday arrested two 'hybrid' terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession. The two have been identified as Talib Ahmed Sheikh, a resident of Laderwan in Kupwara and Shamim Ahmed, a resident of Kavadi Laderwan, Kupwara, a police official said. He was arrested by the police and the army together.

The official said the terrorists have links with Lashkar-e-Taiba and four pistols, eight pistol magazines, 130 pistol rounds and 10 grenades were recovered from them. The security forces use the term 'hybrid' for such terrorists who, under the instructions of their masters, carry out subversive activities and then lead a normal life.
