Superintendent of Police Swati Bhangalia reached the spot as soon as the incident was reported. He told that on the basis of secret information, a special checking operation was conducted at Ranihati Mor. Meanwhile, a vehicle coming from Jamtara in Jharkhand was stopped. There were five people in the car including the driver. In this, three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand Irfan Ansari, Rajesh Kachhap and Naman Vixal Kongadi were involved. A huge amount of cash has been recovered during this period. They are being taken into custody and interrogated.

Counting machine will count cash

Superintendent of Police Swati Bhangalia said that unaccounted cash was found inside the vehicle. He said that it is not possible to tell how much cash is there at the moment. Bank officials are being contacted. Counting of cash will be done by counting machine. He said that the MLAs are being questioned. Jamtara MLA's board was installed on the car. The police is investigating the matter.
