Gas leak also happened in June this year: It is worth mentioning that earlier this year in early June, there was a gas leak from Porus Laboratories Private Limited Company in Achutapuram, Andhra Pradesh. More than 150 people had fallen ill due to the gas leak, who were admitted to the hospital for treatment. Now today i.e. on Tuesday once again the gas leak has been reported. It is being told that the health of many women has deteriorated.

More than 150 women were ill: The biggest impact of the gas leak was seen in the garment unit located inside the SEZ. Due to the effect of gas, women started complaining of burning sensation in the eyes, nausea and vomiting. After that the condition got worse. The women started fainting, after which they were admitted to the hospital. During investigation, it was found that there was a gas leak due to a damaged scrubber in the unit. It was a matter of relief in the whole matter that no one died in the incident.
