Congress expelled in cross-voting case
According to media reports, Congress MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi on Wednesday resigned from the Haryana Legislative Assembly. He will join the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tomorrow. Bishnoi (53), the sitting MLA from Adampur, submitted his resignation to the Speaker of the Assembly, Gyan Chand Gupta. After the resignation of Bishnoi, now a by-election will have to be held in Adampur seat of Hisar district. The Congress removed Bishnoi from all party posts after he did 'cross-voting' in the Rajya Sabha elections held in June.
Kuldeep Bishnoi has left Congress twice so far
Let us tell you that four-time MLAs and two-time MPs were already angry with the party. Former Haryana Chief Minister Bhajan Lal's younger son Kuldeep Bishnoi is breaking ties with Congress for the second time. He joined the Congress again about six years ago after parting ways with the party.
