94 people are being treated in various hospitals due to the gas leak in the Visakhapatnam district of Andhra Pradesh. According to news agency ANI, 53 people are admitted in government hospitals due to the gas leak, while 41 people are being treated in various hospitals of the district. Anakapalle District Medical and Health Officer Hemant said that at present 53 patients are admitted here. All have been examined and their condition is stable. His treatment is going on.

According to the information, most of the patients complained of difficulty in breathing, nausea, and vomiting. According to Anakapalle police, some women fell ill after a gas leak was reported at a company based in Achutapuram. Some of them have been admitted to the local hospital. Police are waiting for APPCB officials to arrive and assess the situation. No one is allowed inside the premises.
