Ranchi: ED team yesterday questioned media advisor to CM Hemant Soren, Abhishek Prasad alias Pintu, trapped in illegal mining, mining lease allotment case. Where the ED team answered the question for 9 hours. Earlier, when he reached the ED's office, he had come with a bag full of documents. The officials inquired about their income apart from the members of the families. Along with this, questions were also asked about their various sources of income. ED's interrogation of Abhishek in this case will continue even today.

Questions were asked regarding his personal and business relationship with JMM leader Pankaj Mishra. Earlier, in the light of the notice issued by the ED, Pintu reached the ED office at around 10.45 pm on Wednesday with a bag full of documents in his hand. The ED had issued summons to him for questioning on August 1. Then he had asked for 15 days' grace.

He appeared for questioning on Wednesday after the ED refused to give time. His lawyer had also reached the ED office with him. However, the lawyer was not allowed to be present during the interrogation. The ED had also directed Pintu to bring necessary documents related to the activities of himself and the family members. ED took personal information from Pintu. After this, he was asked about his economic activities and sources of income. The inquiry ended at around 9 pm.

In the past, Pintu had asked for 15 days' extension, but ED refused.
