The death due to lightning in Bihar is not taking the name of stopping. While the rain has given relief to the farmers in some areas in the state, lightning has caused havoc in many areas due to rain. This celestial calamity has killed many people in the state. Only 6 people have died due to this disaster in the last 24 hours.

6 people lost their lives due to lightning 

According to the information received, from late Wednesday evening to Thursday, six people have died due to thunderstorms, including one in Katihar, four in Nawada and one in Banka. Expressing deep condolences on the death of six people in three districts of the state, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the dependents of the deceased.

Expressing grief over this accident, the Chief Minister tweeted that 6 people died due to lightning in 3 districts of the state. An ex-gratia grant of Rs.4-4 lakh will be given immediately to the dependents of the deceased. Be careful in bad weather. Follow the suggestions issued by the Disaster Management Department to prevent thunderstorms. Stay at home in bad weather, stay safe.
