According to the information received, from late Wednesday evening to Thursday, six people have died due to thunderstorms, including one in Katihar, four in Nawada and one in Banka. Expressing deep condolences on the death of six people in three districts of the state, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced a compensation of Rs 4 lakh for the dependents of the deceased.

An ex-gratia grant of Rs.4-4 lakh will be given immediately to the dependents of the deceased. Be careful in bad weather.
