The cabinet has also approved to open 11 new registry offices in the state. Registry office will be opened at three places in Patna.

The state government has given approval to open 11 new registry offices in Bihar. Its consent was given in the cabinet meeting held on Friday. Under this, there will be new registry offices at three places in Patna district. Registry offices will be set up at Fatuhan, Saptchak and Bihta.

Apart from this, new office of junior registrar will be opened at Dumraon in Buxar district, Amarpur in Banka, Chanpatia and Lauria in West Champaran, Shahpur Patori in Samastipur district, Manihari in Katihar, Patepur in Veshalil and Banmankhi in Purnia district.

In the meeting of the cabinet, consent has also been given for the appointment of junior registrars at all these places. Apart from this, two additional posts of District Under Registrar and nine additional posts of Junior Registrar have been approved. With this decision of the government, people will get facility for registration of land etc. at these places.

135 engineers and 43 other posts approved in BUDCO

In the cabinet meeting, more than fifty crore rupees have been approved for the construction of 520 bedded OBC plus residential schools in Saran district. In order to expedite the functioning of BUDCO, the government has approved 178 posts to be filled on deputation basis. 13.63 crore will be spent annually on this. These include 135 posts regularly appointed by engineers.

10 percent increase in the remuneration of guest instructors of ITI

The government has approved a 10 percent increase in the remuneration of the employees working on guest instructional posts in ITI institutions of the state. The sub-divisional medical officer of Tikari in Gaya district, Dr. Kumari Archana, was given the approval for dismissal from the service due to non-attendance since 2016.

Term extension approved for five years

The 62 posts sanctioned earlier for the digitization of Patna High Court have been approved for extension for the next five years. In this, two posts of supervisor, 40 posts of assistant and 20 posts of computer knowledgeable laborers are included.
