Mohit Grewal was born on 20 December 1999 in Bamla village of Bhiwani, Haryana. There are many wrestlers in Mohit's family. His father Jagdish has also done wrestling. Because of this, from childhood, Mohit saw the atmosphere of wrestling, arenas and riots around him. However, initially Mohit wanted to become a swimmer. Mohit has also learned swimming and judo. He has also brought medals in swimming at the national level. But gradually Mohit got interested in wrestling and started wrestling at the age of 13.

Achievements in the name of Mohit

In the year 2015, Mohit won the gold medal in the Cadet National Games held in India. In 2016, 17-year-old Mohit also won gold in the School National Games held in Delhi. In the same year, Mohit succeeded in winning the gold medal in the School World Wrestling Championship in Turkey. At that time Mohit participated in the weight category of 120 kg. And now won the bronze medal in the Commonwealth Games 2022.
