CWG 2022: Sagar Ahlawat wins silver

In boxing, Sagar Ahlawat of India had to be satisfied with silver in the super heavyweight category ie 92 kg weight category. They were defeated 5–0 by Delicious Ory of England in the final. This is how boxing has ended. India won three gold, one silver and three bronze medals in boxing in Birmingham. India's total medal tally has gone up to 55.

CWG 2022: Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand won bronze

In women's doubles badminton, the pair of Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand Pullela won the bronze medal. In the bronze medal match, the Indian pair defeated the Australian pair of Suan Yu, Wendy Chen and Somerville 21-15, 21-18 in successive games. 

CWG 2022: Indian mixed doubles team wins gold in table tennis

India has won another gold in Table Tennis. In mixed doubles, India's Achanta Sharath Kamal and Sreeja Akula defeated Malaysian pair of Jawen Chung and Karen Lean 11-4, 9-11, 11-5, 11-6 to win the match 4-1. did. That is, the Indian pair won four games, while the Malaysia pair won one game. Earlier the Indian men's table tennis team had also won gold. India's total gold count has gone up to 18 gold. India has so far won 53 medals in the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

CWG 2022: Indian women's cricket team wins silver

The Indian women's cricket team was defeated by Australia by 9 runs in the final. Batting first, Australia scored 161 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 20 overs. Beth Mooney scored 61 runs. In reply, the Indian team was all out for 152 runs. Harmanpreet Kaur scored 65 runs. At one point, the Indian team had scored 118 runs for the loss of three wickets. Since then wickets fell at regular intervals and the Indian team lost the match. The Indian women's cricket team had to be content with silver after losing in the final. Australia took the historic gold. Women's cricket has been included in the Commonwealth Games for the first time.

CWG 2022: Srikanth wins bronze

Kidambi Srikanth has won the bronze medal. In the bronze medal match, he defeated Jia Heng Teh of Singapore 21-15, 21-18 in successive games. Srikanth was defeated by Malaysia's Angatje Yong in the semi-finals. In this way, Srikanth was out of the race for gold.

CWG 2022: Sathiyan Gyanasekaran loses

India's table tennis player Sathiyan Gnanasekaran has lost in the men's singles semi-finals. They were defeated 4–1 by England Liam Pitchford in the semi-finals. Pitchford defeated Gyanasekaran 11-5, 4-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-9. Now Sathiyan will take on Paul Drinkhall of England in the Browns Medal match on Monday.

CWG 2022: Sourav-Deepika win bronze medal

Dipika Pallikal and Saurav Ghosal won the bronze medal in mixed doubles of squash. She defeated Australian pair of Lobban Donna and Piley Cameron 2-0 in the bronze medal match. Pallikal and Sourav won the first game 11-8 and the second game 11-4. 

Dipika and Sourav won silver medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. However, this time the pair could not do wonders and lost in the semi-finals. However, the Indian pair won the bronze medal match. This is India's 50th medal at the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

Sathiyan's match has started in the second semi-final match of men's singles in table tennis. He faces Liam Pitchfort.
