CUET-UG will be conducted by National Testing Agency in 61 subjects in 13 languages across the country. Regarding this, UGC Chairman Prof M Jagadesh Kumar issued a press statement on Sunday saying that due to technical fault in some centers it has been rescheduled. Some of the centers where reports of sabotage were received. There NTA has canceled and postponed the examinations.
Keeping in mind the interest of the students, the examination was canceled
Strict action will be taken against those who deliberately vandalize. He said that keeping in mind the interest of the students at some centers the examination has been canceled. NTA is continuously keeping the students informed of the changes through email, messaging and voice mail.
CUET-UG will be conducted smoothly
A special email id [email protected] has been created to receive and resolve the queries and grievances of the students. He has said that due to the efforts and corrective actions taken by NTA, we are hopeful that CUET-UG will be conducted smoothly in the coming days.
new admit card will be issued
The Central University Joint Entrance Examination-Graduate (CUET-UG) will be held from August 24 to 28 for the candidates who were affected by the cancellation of the examination last week due to a technical snag. New admit cards will be issued to these candidates. Earlier this exam was to be held from August 12 to 14.
Phase III exam on August 17, 18 and 20
NTA Senior Director Sadhna Parashar said that a total of 15,811 candidates had requested for different dates from August 12 to 14. Keeping this in mind, it has been decided that the examination will be conducted from August 24 to 28. According to the schedule given earlier to the candidates, the third phase examination will be conducted on August 17, 18 and 20.
