Mood Of The Nation: When Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar broke ties with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the opposition parties were delighted. It was claimed that in the year 2024 Lok Sabha elections, a big leader was found to compete with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. But, a recent survey has ruined this happiness of the opposition parties.
Nitish Kumar walks out of NDA
A survey has come out, in which it has been said that in the year 2024 Lok Sabha elections, only Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister. However, the NDA seats will be slightly reduced. There are less than two years left for the general elections. Meanwhile, Nitish Kumar has distanced himself from the NDA, making many serious allegations against the central government and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Modi still the country's first choice as PM
As soon as Nitish Kumar left the NDA, the opposition party became an attacker on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP. The opposition, which rained questions on the working style of PM Modi, said that the BJP does not respect its allies. That is why no party in North India is left with him. Despite all the allegations and attacks of the opposition, Narendra Modi is still the first choice of the country as the Prime Minister.
NDA will suffer in 2024 Lok Sabha elections
India Today has conducted a survey in association with C-Voter, in which this thing has come to the fore. It has been said in the survey that due to Nitish Kumar leaving the BJP, NDA seems to be losing in the year 2024 Lok Sabha elections, but only Narendra Modi will become Prime Minister. It has been told in the survey that Modi is still the most popular leader and the first choice of the people as the Prime Minister.
BJP will win only 286 seats
According to the survey, when Nitish Kumar was with the NDA, the NDA was leading in 307 seats in the 543-member Lok Sabha. After Nitish left the NDA, this figure comes down to 286. That is, due to Nitish Kumar leaving the NDA, he is losing 21 seats. Let us tell you that the BJP currently has more than 300 seats in the Lok Sabha and it has an absolute majority.
What the 'Mood of the Nation' survey says
Opinions of more than 1.22 lakh people were taken in the 'Mood of the Nation' survey conducted between February and August. In the survey conducted after Nitish Kumar and his party Janata Dal United broke ties with the BJP, it was found that even after 8 years of tenure, Narendra Modi is the first choice of the people as PM.
Narendra Modi is the choice of 53 percent of the people
It has been said in the survey that despite inflation and unemployment, the popularity and acceptance of Narendra Modi has not decreased much. About 53 percent of the people who took part in the survey said that after the general elections of 2024, Narendra Modi will become the Prime Minister. 9 percent people expressed the hope of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi becoming the Prime Minister, while 7 per cent people said that Arvind Kejriwal can become the Prime Minister of the country.
