UGC NTA Postponed CUET UG 2022 Phase-4: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has once again postponed the CUET UG exam on Saturday, August 13. The UGC said that the fourth phase of Common University Entrance Test conducted by the NTA, which was scheduled from August 17 to August 20, is being postponed till August 30.
CUET UG: Exam postponed for 11,000 candidates
The University Grants Commission (UGC) in its notice said that the examination for 11,000 candidates has been postponed from August 17 to 20 to August 30 to accommodate the choice of city for the examination centre. However, the exam is not postponed for all the candidates. It has been postponed only for 11 thousand candidates seeking to change the exam centre.
CUET UG: Exam will remain the same for 3.72 lakh candidates
UGC Chairman Professor M Jagadesh Kumar said that the fourth phase of the Undergraduate Level Common Entrance Test of Universities- has been scheduled from August 17-20 and a total of 3.72 lakh candidates had to appear. However, the examination for over 11,000 out of these 3.72 lakh candidates has been postponed till August 30, to accommodate the city of their choice for the examination centre.
CUET UG 2022: Duty of Associate Professor as Technical Supervisor
Professor Kumar said that the NTA has increased the capacity of the centers and added more examination centers apart from making efforts to ensure the quality of the centres. He said, it has also been decided to deploy Associate Professor level faculty as technical supervisors and deploy additional technical manpower at each center to ensure smooth conduct of the examination. The National Testing Agency had to cancel the exam at various centers due to glitches in the second phase of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).a
