A case of robbery of Rs 5.45 lakh has come to light at CSP Center of Central Bank in Motihari.

In the CSP of Central Bank of India operated in Garhwa Khajuria of NH 27 of Kotwa police station area of ​​Motihari, armed criminals riding bikes have entered into broad daylight robbery. Criminals have looted Rs 5.45 lakh on the strength of arms. It is being told that to scare people during the robbery, the criminals also fired four rounds. Police reached the spot after getting information about the incident. Police have recovered a bullet case from the spot. Along with this, the matter is being investigated.

Five criminals committed robbery by bike

Regarding the incident, CSP director Munna Kumar said that on Saturday, he was sitting in his CSP and doing transactions of money from customers. Meanwhile, five officers on two bikes barged into the CSP and robbed Rs 5.45 lakh kept around his neck. After this, while leaving from there, he ran away while firing. The sound of gunfire created panic in the area. People gathered in front of CSP. The matter was reported to the Kotwa police. The police is investigating the CCTV footage in the matter. Along with this, inquiries of customers are also being done.

Police is trying to identify criminals: SHO

After the incident, the police have activated their Khabri network in the area. Kotwa Police Station Officer Anuj Kumar said that after getting information about the robbery incident in the CSP of the Central Bank, he reached the spot along with the police force on the spot. He told that people are talking about firing four bullets. But only two kiosks have been found from the incident site. The criminals will be arrested soon after checking the CCTV footage.
