Name more than half a dozen people involved in the conspiracy

According to information received from sources, Kapil Dev has given the names of more than half a dozen people involved in the conspiracy to leak the paper, who have been helping him in leaking the paper earlier also. Some of them are government employees. These names are new for SIT. He has also admitted that he has got many candidates employed by messing in many other competitive examinations. Based on Kapil Dev's interrogation, the direction of research has shifted towards criminal conspiracy as well as money trial.

Kapil is an active associate of Shakti Kumar

SP (EOU) Sushil Kumar, who is heading the SIT, told on Sunday that Kapildev Kumar is the master mind of the question paper leak, Shakti Kumar, resident of New Colony of Gaya police station, Delha, and an active associate of Central Superintendent Ram Sharan Singh Evening College, Delhi. Shakti Kumar had sent the question paper to Kapil Dev through WhatsApp at 10.35 am before the exam. Kapildev forwarded it to his other friends and associates. During interrogation, Kapildev has also admitted to passing the candidates by setting and rigging in many other competitive examinations.

Location kept changing in many places including Delhi, Leh, Ladakh

Sushil Kumar said that research is being done on important points. Action will be taken on the basis of evidence against every guilty persons involved in the conspiracy done by this entire gang. Kapildev Kumar (father Rameshwar Yadav), a resident of Bhitgharwa of Barachatti police station in Gaya district, is an accused in this case. On June 9, he had escaped from the IOU in Prayagraj. After hiding in Delhi, Leh-Ladakh, Nepal, he reached Bokaro. Kapil Dev Prayagraj is working as an auditor in the IT and Systems Division of the Controller General of Defense Accounts, Prayagraj.

Kapil Dev was also giving PT exam. His examination center was in Dumrao. He had given the wrong address of Prayagraj in the examination form. The BPSC papers had reached the rest of the people only through Kapil Dev. The IOU has also recovered two mobile phones, three of Airtel and two of Jio SIM cards, four of Punjab National Bank and one debit card of State Bank of India, besides two voter ID cards made in fake names from his possession.
So far 19 accused have reached the bars
On 09 May 22, the Economic Offenses Unit has registered a case 20/2022 under Section 420/467/468/120 (B) Bhadvi, 66 IT Act and Section-3/10 of Bihar Examination Control Act 1981. A special research team of the IOU is investigating this. The SIT has so far arrested 18 people. One of the accused has surrendered in the court. The charge sheet has been submitted in the court against the nine accused.
