Sonali Phogat Murder Case: Updates are coming continuously in the murder case of BJP leader and Tik Tok star Sonali Phogat. Goa Police has arrested Sudhir Sangwan, Sukhwinder Singh, owner of Curly Club and a drug peddler. At the same time, the Haryana government will write a letter to Goa demanding a CBI inquiry into the death of Sonali Phogat. Another drug peddler has been arrested in this case. According to Anjuna police, the drug peddler has been identified as Rama. So far 5 people have been arrested in this case.

CBI inquiry recommended

Haryana government will write to Goa government requesting it to recommend a CBI probe into the death of BJP leader Sonali Phogat. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar gave this assurance to the family members of Phogat on Saturday. Phogat's family members met Khattar at his residence on Saturday evening and requested a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) probe into his death.

Four people arrested so far

Sonali Phogat, who became famous with Tiktok, died under mysterious circumstances in Goa earlier this week. Police have so far arrested Phogat's personal assistant Sagwan, another associate Sukhwinder Singh, 'Curley's' restaurant owner Edwin Nunes and alleged drug smuggler Dattaprasad Gaonkar. (Language)

Deputy Superintendent of Police Jeevba Dalvi said that the remaining part of the narcotic which was given to Sonali Phogat at Anjuna's Curlies restaurant, has been seized from the washroom of the restaurant. Police have so far arrested Phogat's personal assistant Sudhir Sangwan, another associate Sukhwinder Singh, restaurant owner Edwin Nunes and alleged drug smuggler Datta Prasad Gaonkar in this case. Singh and Sangwan have been booked for murder while Gaonkar and Nunes have been booked under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
