Namaz Controversy In Moradabad: Police has registered a case against 26 people for offering prayers collectively in Chhajlat police station area of Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The police have registered a case against 16 named and 10 unknown worshipers on the complaint of a youth of another community. On the other hand, taking cognizance of the entire incident, SP Dehat Sandeep Kumar Meena has ordered to initiate further action.
In fact, in Dulhepur village of Thana Chajalat, Moradabad, a video of offering congregational prayers in a house without a mosque-madrasa has surfaced. The Hindu side says that this video of Namaz is from June 3 but still the collective Namaz is going on. That's why a complaint was made to the police. People say that some people have accused of starting a new tradition inside the village. People of Hindu community have been opposing it. In this case, the police have started advance action by registering a case against 16 people named and 10 unknown under section 505(2).
