UP Cabinet Decision: A cabinet meeting was held at Lok Bhavan in Lucknow on Tuesday. Many important decisions were approved in this meeting. CM Yogi Adityanath presided over the meeting. In the meeting, 15 important proposals were approved unanimously. 500 posts will be recruited in the Transport Department. At the same time, the test of Permanent DL will also be online. This recruitment will be done by the Subordinate Services Selection Commission.

This arrangement will be done in every district on PPP model

According to the decision taken in the cabinet meeting, the test for permanent driving license will also be online. Driving license will now be available only after passing the test through the simulator. This system will be arranged in every district on PPP model. In view of the absence of any provision for the determination of the number of automatic testing stations, in the first phase, in each district of the state (except Lucknow, Kanpur city and Agra, where state government-owned automated testing stations are operated or proposed), initially one- An Automated Testing Station (ATS) will be set up. But in future the option of increasing the number of automated test stations as per requirement will remain open.

1,500 jobs to be created

Giving information to the media regarding the decisions after the meeting of the Council of Ministers, State Finance Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna said that the establishment of automated testing stations on PPP mode in all the districts of the state would attract an investment of about Rs 500 crore. This will create about 1,500 jobs.
