In the letter submitted to the Governor, it has been said that there is an atmosphere of instability in Jharkhand due to the leakage of a particular fact from your office.

A delegation of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) on Thursday met Governor Ramesh Bais amidst the turmoil over the membership of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The delegation appealed to the Governor to make public the updated status about Hemant Soren's membership. On this the Raj Bhavan was told that the situation would be clarified within a day or two. JMM (Jharkhand Mukti Morcha) leaders Vinod Pandey and Supriyo Bhattacharya gave this information.

Submitted a 5-page memorandum to the Governor

Congress MP Geeta Koda gave this information to the journalists after coming out of the Raj Bhavan. He told that it has been told from the Raj Bhavan that His Excellency the Governor is still taking legal advice. A five-page memorandum was handed over to the governor, in which it has been said that since August 25, there is a discussion in the media that the governor has canceled the membership of the assembly of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. But, no information has been made public from the Raj Bhavan so far.

Conspiracy to destabilize the elected government

A copy of the news published in the newspapers has also been included in its support. In the letter submitted to the Governor, it has been said that there is an atmosphere of instability in Jharkhand due to the leakage of a particular fact from your office. From the political world to the administrative world, there is a state of uncertainty. There is a conspiracy to destabilize an elected government of the state due to non-disclosure of correct information by your office.

BJP is demanding resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren

It has also been said in the memorandum submitted that no public announcement has been made so far about the report given by the Raj Bhavan to the Central Election Commission. But, the state's largest opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has made a public announcement about this report. On this basis, she is demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Not only this, the possibility of mid-term elections is also being expressed in the state.

Raj Bhavan to clarify the status of Hemant Soren's membership

It has been said in the letter that you are aware that the cancellation of the membership of the Chief Minister is not going to have any effect on the government, because Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) alliance have absolute majority. Therefore, with a very heavy heart, we request you to clarify the situation as soon as possible about the decision taken by the Raj Bhavan on the recommendation of the Election Commission.

leader of the delegation

Besides Geeta Koda, the delegation that went to meet the Governor included Vijay Hansda, Joba Manjhi, Supriyo Bhattacharya, Vinod Pandey, Bandhu Tirkey and Dheeraj Sahu. Earlier it was reported that the UPA delegation had sought an appointment with the Governor, which was turned down.
