Police is continuously taking strict action against professional criminals and gangs.

Police-administration has once again taken major action against Vijay Mishra, former MLA of Gyanpur in Varanasi and his family. On Friday, on the instructions of the DM, property worth 3.34 crores was attached in the name of Vijay Mishra, his daughter-in-law and son. Under the Gangster Act, the immovable property located in Navdhan was attached. He is facing charges in many cases including raping a singer, grabbing the property of a relative.

The land is close to the highway

Police is continuously taking strict action against professional criminals and gangs. In this, the screws are being constantly tightened on former MLA Vijay Mishra. Superintendent of Police Dr. Anil Kumar said that on the instructions of the DM, the property of the former MLA and family located in Navdhan was attached. Its price is 3 crore 34 lakhs. He told that by criminal intimidation, Vijay Mishra had bought this land in the name of himself and his family members. There is a valuable land adjacent to the highway in Navdhan village of Unj police station area.

According to the information, a total of 5590 square meters of land of Araji number 1396, 1398, 1399, 1402 joint Gata number was purchased in the name of Vijay Mishra and his family members. Former MLA Vijay Mishra is currently lodged in Agra jail in connection with the grabbing of relative's property, gang rape. A few days ago, on the orders of the District Magistrate, a land worth two crore 50 lakhs in the name of Pushpalata, wife of his nephew Chandra Prakash Mishra, was also attached while taking action under the Gangster Act.
