On Teachers Day 2022, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday interacted with 46 National Award winning teachers. During this interaction, the PM said that we are grateful to the teachers for giving the right shape and direction to the young mind. Our teachers have played a big role in formulating the National Education Policy. During an interaction with the teachers who were awarded the National Award this year, PM Modi said that it is our good fortune that our current President is also a teacher. His early life was spent as a teacher.

We have to establish a connection with the children

The Prime Minister said that it is not that the job of a teacher is only to take classes or do a school job. The job of the teacher is to guide the students. The duty of the teacher is also to improve their standard of living and make them a better citizen. For this we have to establish a connection with the children. This association will prepare the leaders of the future. The Prime Minister said that teachers can do the job of removing the dilemmas of the minds of the students in the best way. As teachers, we should establish contact with the students not only in the classroom but even at their homes. According to their family situation, they should give suggestions. 

PM told the qualities of being a successful teacher

During his address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also told the qualities of being a successful teacher. The PM said that a successful teacher is one who does not have a feeling of like or dislike towards the student. Even if they have their own children in the classroom. Don't discriminate against anyone. Teachers work in harmony. He should be the concern of every student.
