The last date for KYC was extended from July 31 to August 31, with the condition that by this date all the farmers taking benefits complete the necessary process related to e-KYC.

New Delhi. Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi is one of the important schemes of the Government of India. Under this scheme, the government provides financial assistance to small and marginal farmers. This is such a scheme of the government, in which money is sent directly to the account of farmers. 6,000 rupees are transferred annually in the account of every farmer. The government sends this money in 3 equal installments, that is, the central government transfers 2,000 thousand rupees in every installment.

Let us tell you that the first installment under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi is released between April 1 and July 31. The second installment is released between August 1 and November 30. Whereas the third installment comes between December 1 and March 31. The last 11th installment was released on May 31, 2022. Then the Modi government at the Center had transferred Rs 21,000 crore to 10 crore eligible farmers of the country. Now the 12th installment can be sent to the farmers' account anytime between September and November.

The date for updating e-KYC has not been extended

E-KYC has been made mandatory to take advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The last date for e-KYC was extended from July 31 to August 31, with the condition that by this date all the farmers taking benefits complete the necessary process related to e-KYC. In such a situation, if you are a beneficiary of PM Kisan Yojana and you are not able to get e-KYC done, then the installment money can get stuck. At the same time, the deadline for updating e-KYC has not been extended by the government.

Benefit of PM Kisan Yojana will not be available in these conditions

 If a farmer does farming and that field is not in his name but in the name of his father or grandfather, then he will not get the benefit of Rs 6,000 annually. To take the benefit, that land should be in the name of the farmer.

If a farmer takes land from another farmer and does farming on rent, then he too will not get the benefit of this scheme.

 No institutional land holder can take advantage of this scheme.

 If a farmer or someone in his family is on a constitutional post, then he too will not get the benefit of this scheme.

 Serving or retired officers and employees of State/Central Government as well as PSUs and Government Autonomous Bodies will not be covered under the benefit of the scheme.

 Professionals like doctors, engineers, CAs, architects and lawyers will also not get the benefit of this scheme, even if they do agriculture.

Retired pensioners getting monthly pension of more than Rs 10,000 will not get this benefit.

In the last assessment yearIncome TaxPaying professionals are also kept out of the purview of the scheme.

Any municipal corporation in the farmer's family, even if it is in the district panchayat, it will be kept out of its purview.

how to check status

To check the status, first of all go to the official website of PM Kisan. Then, click on the Farmers Corner option on the right side of the homepage. Then click on Beneficiary Status. Select the Registration Number or Mobile Number option to open a new page. Enter the captcha code. Next, click on Generate OTP. After this your status will be known. If you have not done e-KYC, the system will not give you any status information and may ask you to update the KYC.
