Need to do work to modernize 10 and a half lakh schools of the country, CM Kejriwal appeals to PM

On the occasion of Teacher's Day yesterday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that 14,500 government schools in the country will be made modern.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that we all together have to make India the number-1 country in the world. We have to connect every countryman with this campaign. I am going to start this journey from tomorrow from my birthplace Hisar in Haryana. He also appealed for major reforms in the education system of the country. In the next five years, we should work to prepare one and a half lakh schools across the country as modern class schools.

He appealed to the Prime Minister that all the 10 and a half lakh schools in the country should be repaired within 5 years, for this the central government along with all the state governments should make plans.

CM Kejriwal said that today India has been left behind for 75 years because of the parties. 130 crore Indians will have to work hard and work together.
