Jharkhand's para teacher is once again in the mood to agitate.

Ranchi: The para teachers (assistant teachers) of the state are again preparing for the agitation for the demand of pay scale. On September 11, there will be a joint meeting of the Community Assistant Teacher Association and the Jharkhand State Associate Teacher Association. Teachers will gather in the assembly ground. In the meeting, the para teacher will prepare a further strategy regarding the pay scale.

Vinod Tiwari and Vinod Bihari Mahto said that according to the service condition rules made for teachers in the meeting, the action taken so far and the demand for pay scale will be considered. Four percent honorarium increase was said in the Service Conditions Rules, but till now no action has been taken in this matter.

Honorarium payment in the name of certificate verification has also been stopped. The amount was already deposited from the teachers for certificate verification. The amount is being sought again by the department. The teachers have deposited the amount again, even after this the certificate was not verified on time. Now the honorarium has not been paid for two months. Teachers are not to blame for non-verification of certificates. Shri Tiwari has said that for this the salary of the concerned District Education Superintendent and Block Education Extension Officer should be stopped.

There has been a 50 percent increase in the honorarium:

Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test has been increased by 50 percent in the honorarium of successful para teachers and 40 percent in the honorarium of other teachers. Apart from this, provision has been made for assessment test for those teachers who are not successful in the teacher eligibility test.

Tet successful teachers also warned of agitation

Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JETET) Successful Assistant Teacher Association has already announced the agitation. Sangh's state president Pramod Kumar said that the union had earlier announced the agitation from August 28, which was later postponed. He said that the next date of agitation would be announced soon.
