This is how scholarship scam happened in state schools

The first scholarship scam case came to light in Dhanbad in the state. After this, this matter also came up in other districts of the state. In the preliminary investigation of Dhanbad district administration, a case of about 10 crore scam in pre-matric scholarship given to minority students during the year 2019-20 came to light.

In the investigation, it was found that payment has been made in the name of many schools, which did not even have a U DICE code. The accused made the payment of scholarships to the fake students under the conspiracy. The account information of many students was not found because their account was not linked with Aadhaar. On the basis of the investigation report, later a case was also registered in the local police station. ACB is currently investigating the scams in various districts in the state on the instructions of the government.
