Sonali Phogat Death Case: The investigation of BJP leader Sonali Phogat's death case is going on. Meanwhile, preparations are being made to take major action in this matter. The National Green Tribunal has dismissed a petition seeking a stay on the demolition of Goa's 'Restaurant Curlies'. Please tell that BJP leader and Tiktok star Sonali Phogat was given drugs in this restaurant. After the dismissal of the petition, the way has been cleared for the demolition of Curlies restaurant. Let us tell you that the owner of Curlies restaurant Edwin Nunes had filed a petition in the National Green Tribunal seeking a stay on the order of the Goa Coastal Zone Management Authority to demolish the Curlies restaurant.
GCZMA ordered the demolition of Curlies restaurant
Let us tell you that the GCZMA had ordered the demolition of Curlies restaurant on 21 July 2016. Also, it was told that there is an illegally built restaurant in Curly's No Development Zone. Against this order, Edwin Nunes, the owner of Curlies restaurant , appealed in the NGT i.e. National Green Tribunal. This appeal was rejected by the NGT on 6 September 2022.
Curly's Restaurant is already in the midst of controversies
Let us inform that on 7 September, the Goa government has given an affidavit in the NGT for review and re-hearing of the order given regarding Curlies. Curlies restaurant has already been in the midst of controversy. According to the information received, two cases were already registered against the owner of the restaurant under the NDPS, while the statement of the owner Edwin was recorded in an NDPS case in Andhra Pradesh.
Overdose of MDMA drugs given at Curlies restaurant on August 22
According to the information received, BJP leader Sonali Phogat had reached Curley's restaurant on 22 August. He was accompanied by PA Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder Singh. It is alleged that Sudhir Sangwan and Sukhwinder gave Sonali an overdose of MDMA drugs. When Sonali's health deteriorated, she was taken to a nearby hospital, where Sonali died. On the other hand, Goa Police has searched Hisar, Rohtak and Gurugram to find out the motive behind Sonali's murder, but nothing concrete has been found so far.
