Mumbai Police said that MLA Sada Sarwankar along with his son and 6 others have been booked by the police under sections of the riots and arms act.

After a clash between the workers of Eknath Shinde faction and the Uddhav Thackeray faction over a social media post in Dadar area of ​​Mumbai, the police arrested 5 activists of the Uddhav Thackeray faction. Giving information, the Mumbai Police said that a case has been registered against more than 30 people in this case.

MLA fired outside the police station

According to the report of news agency ANI, the police said that Mumbai MLA Sada Sarwankar along with his son and 6 others were booked by the police under sections of the rioting and arms act when the MLA opened fire outside the police station. Mumbai Police said that 5 people of Shiv Sena, who were arrested by the police under various sections including IPC section 395, have been given relief by the police by removing section 395 from the FIR. All other sections are bailable.

MLA Sada Saravankar's troubles may increase

Shinde faction MLA Sada Saravankar is accused of firing. However, the police is probing the matter whether Sada Saravankar has actually fired or not. It is being told that this matter started gaining momentum when some people of Uddhav Thackeray faction on Saturday night reached under Sada Sarwankar's building and started raising slogans. Right after this, the people of Eknath Shinde faction reached there and clashes started between the two groups. Police say that further investigation will be done only after verifying the statements of the people. However, if it is found in the police investigation that Sada Saravankar has fired, then his troubles can increase significantly.
