A big case of cheating is coming out from Patna, the capital of Bihar. In fact, here the vicious thugs duped the operator of a printing press of Rs 48 lakh in the name of investing in the stock market and mutual funds. Saroj Singh, a resident of West Boring Canal Road, Patna, a victim of this fraud, has filed a case against three accused in SKpuri police station. The name of Ramanuj, a resident of Boring Road, and his son and wife are included in the FIR registered.
Amount taken in different installments
According to the victim Saroj Singh, the miscreants lured him to double the amount by investing in the stock market and mutual funds. After which they fell in the trap of the vicious. The accused took a total of Rs 48 lakh in their different installments. Victim Sooraj Singh said that Ramanuj's son and wife made friends before their family. After that, by saying that he had good knowledge of the stock market, he cheated the amount from him.
Threatened to kill for demanding money back
The victim of the fraud Saroj Singh told that the son of accused Ramanuj used to study in the school with his daughter. Because of this, both the families got acquainted. Ramanuj's family members have got him transferred lakhs of rupees to his account through loan app. This game of cheating was going on since 2020. Let us tell you that the idea of cheating the vicious family was so unique that the accused had given double the amount several times to maintain trust. After which the victim Saroj went on getting caught in the web of thugs. The accused also showed Saroj some fake papers related to investment in mutual funds. At present, the accused have absconded with the family amount.
Police engaged in investigation
Here, after the matter came to the notice, the SKpuri police station has started investigating. Police informed that senior officers have been informed about the matter. The mobile phone of the accused family is switched off and the entire family has fled. At present the investigation of the case is going on. Police said that soon the accused will be sent behind the bars while disclosing the matter.
