The second rapid train has reached the Duhai depot in Ghaziabad.

Ghaziabad Rapid Rail: Now the residents of Ghaziabad will not have to wait much for traveling in Rapid Rail. This is because the second rapid train has reached Duhai depot. Today i.e. on September 13, the work of unloading its coach is going on. For this, the officials of National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) have already prepared the plan. After assembling all the coaches of the rail, trial will be done by running both the trains together.

Train trial will start by the end of this year

The construction of the country's first rapid rail is going on at the Savli Alstrom plant in Gujarat. Now two train sets have arrived in Ghaziabad . According to NCRTC officials, the coaches of Rapid Rail will be brought to Duhai Depot. After this, the work of trial of the train will be started in the depot after assembling all the coaches. Officials said that there is a plan to start the trial of the train on the track by the end of this year, which will last for about three months.

Preparation to run rapid rail by March 2023

NCRTC officials said that preparations are being made to run it in the first section by March 2023. About 82 km of the corridor is being constructed under the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transit System. Under this construction work, the work from Sahibabad to Duhai in Ghaziabad is going on very fast. After the completion of track and viaduct work on it, now electrification is going on. The first station will have Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai. The average speed of a rapid train is 100 km. will be per hour.
