CM Hemant Soren inaugurated Jharkhand Sports Policy 2022 at Project Bhawan. On this occasion, 13 players of the state were also honored by giving assistance. The CM said that the way the state government has taken its step in the direction of sports, definitely Jharkhand will become a leading state in the field of sports.

New sports policy made for five years

CM Hemant Soren said that sports activities have increased rapidly in the state since the formation of the present government. For the coming five years, we have made a new sports policy, which has been launched. This sports policy made by the government is dedicated to the players, coaches and coaches of the state. Said that I have worked very closely to understand the interest, awareness and inclination towards sports among the youth of Jharkhand. Our priority is to provide the platform to the players here. I am sure that the new sports policy framed by the state government will help our players to move forward in the direction of sports without any hindrance.

Our players become number-1 by preparing in limited resources

He said that in the recent past, players from other states of the country have registered their presence in various competitions organized in Jharkhand and the trainers here have also done the work of taking quality training. The children of Jharkhand have not only represented the state but the country in many sports and have brought laurels to the state and country in the world by winning medals. Said that the players of Jharkhand who are showing their talent in the field of sports all over the world, those children of ours prepare themselves with very limited resources. It is a matter of pride for us that our children emerge from the limited resources and keep their place at the first place in the country and emerge as the number one player in the country. To take this spirit of the players here further, our government has worked to bring a new sports policy in the state.

Aid amount to players minimum 50 thousand

The Chief Minister said that the policy will be changed from time to time according to the need. Instructions have also been given to the Department of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs in this regard. Said that in the coming time, a provision will be made to give a minimum of Rs 50,000 as assistance to the players by bringing changes in the sports policy. He said that the government is seriously considering how the future of the players here can be secured after an age limit. Along with this, emphasis was given to give more speed to the stadiums being built in the state. The state government is also contemplating to promote sports activities in schools, an action plan will be prepared in this regard.

Our government is providing some help to every section

Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that the pace of development in Jharkhand had come to a standstill in 20 years. The present government has emphasized on increasing the internal resources of the state. Efforts are being made to make the people of each state a part of the government and draw a long line of development with their help. According to the sufficient resources in Jharkhand, our government is working to provide assistance to every section in some way or the other. Said that the present government is worrying about the elderly, youth, women and children. The all-round development of everyone is also the responsibility of the state government.

On this occasion, Minister of Tourism, Art-Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department Hafizul Hasan said that Jharkhand Sports Policy 2022 was launched under the guidance and inspiration of the Chief Minister despite all the adverse circumstances. This sports policy has been made mainly with the aim of better future of the players here, spread of sports activities in Jharkhand, employment to the youth, confidence in the general public and to establish Jharkhand on the national and international stage. In the sports policy, arrangements have also been made to provide jobs to sportspersons and reservation in educational institutions. He said that there is no caste, no religion, no religion of the players in the sports field. The player plays only with sportsmanship and national spirit and this is a place to connect hearts to hearts. He said that this sports policy will give recognition to talented sportspersons at national and international level in selected sports disciplines.

Names included.
