According to the Safdarjung Observatory, so far only 58.5 mm of rain has been received in September, which is much less than the average rainfall of 108.5 mm.

It may rain in Bihar and MP: Monsoon is currently active in Bihar. There is a possibility of rain in many areas of the state. However, the Meteorological Department has ruled out the possibility of heavy rain. At the same time, monsoon is also seen active in Madhya Pradesh. The Meteorological Department has warned of very heavy rain in Morena, Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari districts in the next 24 hours.

Chance of heavy rain in western Odisha: A warning of heavy rain has also been issued by the Meteorological Department in the western and interior districts of Odisha. The Meteorological Department said that due to the formation of low pressure for two consecutive days, there was heavy rain in the coastal and southern areas of the state. The department said in its forecast that there is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in Koraput, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Nuapada, Bolangir, Bargarh, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh districts.
