Dengue outbreak is increasing in Patna. According to government data, now 90 to 100 new patients are appearing within 24 hours. From this it can be estimated that about four to five new people are being stung by dengue mosquitoes every hour. More than 667 dengue patients have been reported within the month. The condition of Shak' syndrome has been reported in such patients of dengue.

Here, reports of dengue, malaria from all private hospitals and pathology centers are not reaching the health department. A campaign is being run by the Health Department for the prevention of the disease. Larvae have not even been tested in the houses from where the patients are getting.

Dengue spread rapidly in these areas

Dengue outbreaks are high in Patna City to Danapur-Phulwarisharif, Digha and Jakkanpur-Khemnichak. No part of Bankipur zone is left untouched by its wrath. Capital's Kankarbagh, Patna City, Rajendranagar, Digha, Indrapuri, Punaichak, Rajendranagar, Mahendru, Bhikhna Hill, GM Road, Naya Tola, Kadamkuan, Chitragupta Nagar, Bhagwat Nagar, Transport Nagar, Saristabad, Bahadurpur Housing Colony, Bhootnath Road, Ramnagari, Outbreak of dengue has spread in more than three dozen localities including Shastrinagar, Patelnagar, Raja Bazar, Buddha Colony.

Paras Hospital: On an average eight to 10 dengue infected are reaching the OPD every day. Here 10 dengue patients are admitted in serious condition.

Big Apollo Hospital: Director Dr. Padmashree Vijay Prakash said that between seven and 10 patients are coming daily. There are six patients admitted now.

Mediversal Hospital: 16 dengue patients are undergoing treatment. Dr Sudeepa Barua said that five to six patients are coming to the OPD every day after getting infected with dengue.

Jai Prabha Medanta Hospital: Medical Officer Dr Ravi Shankar Singh said that three to four dengue cases are coming. There are also some recruits.

Ruban Memorial Hospital: Three to four patients are also reaching the OPD. The director of the hospital, Dr Satyajit Kumar Singh said that at present 12 patients are admitted.

Hi-Tech Hospital: Three to four dengue infected are reaching daily. Hitech's manager Abhay Raj Pandey told that there are four recruits.
