The culprits will get punishment for hearing the case in fast track court: CM
The protesters were demanding a compensation of Rs 1 crore from the government to Ankita's family and a job for a family member. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami again reiterated that the state government will give the harshest punishment to the culprits of the heinous murder. All the actions are taking place on time. There will be no hesitation anywhere. He said that the matter will be heard in the fast track court.
DGP spoke to the victim's father, said the killers would be given capital punishment
Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar assured Ankita Bhandari's father that the killers of his daughter would be given capital punishment. Kumar gave this assurance to Virendra Singh Bhandari over the phone. Ashok Kumar said that the guilty will not be spared. He said that the police is doing its job with utmost sincerity and evidence will be found. SIT is probing the matter.
