Big news is coming from Uttarkashi. According to the information, the avalanche took place near the advance camp of NIM in Bhukki .There is news of the death of some climbers in this. In this regard, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand tweeted that information has been received that 28 trainees of Nehru Mountaineering Institute, Uttarkashi are stranded due to avalanche in Draupadi's Danda-2 mountain peak. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out to get the trainees out safely as soon as possible.

According to media reports, a Cheetah helicopter has been deployed to rescue the trackers trapped in the avalanche. Out of 28 trackers trapped in the avalanche, 8 have been rescued.

In another tweet, CM Dhami wrote that the district administration, NDRF, SDRF, Army and ITBP personnel along with the team of NIM to rescue the trainees trapped in the avalanche in Draupadi's Danda-2 mountain peak at the earliest. Relief and rescue operations are being carried out.
