JCECEB on Saturday released the link of registration window for successful candidates in UG NEET.
UG NEET 2022 Counseling: The process of national and state level medical counseling has started for successful candidates in UG NEET-2022. JCECEB on Saturday released the link of registration window for successful candidates in UG NEET. All 15154 successful students from Jharkhand will be able to register through the website http://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.on. Students have been given a chance to register till October 14 to claim the state-level medical seat (85%).
The registration fee for General, EWS, BC-1 and BC-2 candidates will be Rs.500 and for SC-ST and women candidates Rs.250. No fee will be charged for the handicapped candidates. The window will be opened till October 15 and 16 to rectify the mistakes made in the order of registration. The state merit list will be released on October 17. Only the candidates marked in this will be involved in the counseling of the first phase.
Registration of MCC counseling from October 11
The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the registration for 15% seats in medical colleges across the country from October 11. Students will get a chance to enroll in more than 612 government and private medical colleges across the country. Even after the closing of the registration window on October 17 at 11 am, students will be able to deposit the registration fee till 03 pm. General category candidates will have to pay Rs 100, SC-ST, OBC and Divyang candidates will have to pay Rs 500 as registration fee for All India Quota and Central University. Whereas, on registering for Deemed University, candidates will have to pay Rs 5000.
Main counseling will be done in two phases: Pankaj
Expert Pankaj Singh said that this year candidates will get less time in medical counseling. MCC is preparing to complete the main counseling in two phases this year. Last year, counseling was held in three phases. As per the rule in lieu of National Medical Counseling, only those candidates who are not able to secure seat allotment in both the phases will appear in the mop-up round. Candidates need to pay special attention in choice filling. After registration, do choice filling by evaluating the status of your rank from the closing rank of the previous year.
