Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation ( IRCTC ), a Government of India undertaking under Indian Railways , will operate Jyotirling Yatra Darshan special train for tourists under Swadesh Darshan Yatra. With this, people can visit all the Jyotirlingas and other religious places of the country at a low rate. This information was given by IRCTC Chief Supervisor Nikhil Kumar in a press conference held at the junction on Wednesday. He told that IRCTC will conduct the yatra. Jyotirling Yatra special train will operate from November 06.
11 nights and 12 days journey
This program will be of 11 nights and 12 days. Under this, five Jyotirlinga pilgrimage places like Ujjain, Omkareshwar, Somnath, Dwarka, Nageshwar, Trayambakeshwar, Shirdi, Shani Shingnapur, Statue of Unity will be visited. On November 06, the special train will run from Kolkata, which will pass through Dumka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur. Its fare per person has been fixed at Rs 22,010 for sleeper class and Rs 33,020 for AC second tier class. So far more than 650 tickets have been booked online.
Tickets will also be available at the food plaza of IRCTC
Nikhil Kumar said that in view of the convenience of the passengers, boarding points have been fixed for Dumka, Bhagalpur, Jamalpur. Helpline number 8595904074/75/73/82 can be contacted for booking tickets at all these stations. Booking facility is also available online at www.irctctourism.com and food plazas of IRCTC. Passengers who will catch the special train from Muzaffarpur and Samastipur from Jamalpur or Bhagalpur, the fare of Muzaffarpur-Samastipur to Bhagalpur and Jamalpur stations of sleeper class will be refunded to the passengers. Its ticket booking has started.
