Exhibition of GI products of many states will be held

Varanasi Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma told that many states of North India will exhibit their Geographical Indicator Product products in this festival. Students related to technical education will be added to the exhibition of GI products of North India. E-buses will be operated to reach Deendayal Hastkala Sankul.

Students of big technical institutions will also be involved

The GI Mahotsav is being organized in collaboration with the DPIIT Department of the Ministry of Commerce. In this, 11 states of North India are likely to be included. Students of Indian Institute of Handloom Technology, National Institute of Fashion Technology, Indian Institute of Carpet Technology Bhadohi have also been invited to participate. . Exhibition of GI Products from 11 States

According to the district administration, stalls of more than 100 GI products from UP, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana will be held in the festival. These include Allahabad ruddy guava, Kota Doria saree, Madhubani painting, Maheshwari saree, Sanganer hand block print, Kannauj perfume, Banaras pink enamel, Firozabad glass products, Moradabad brass products, Chanderi saree dupatta, tiger print Madhya Pradesh, Punjab Phulkari Rajasthani jewelery stalls can be set up.
