Scientists are also scared about this because Omicron's BF.7 and BA.5.1.7 variants are reportedly being blamed behind the way the corona has spread in China in recent days.

Significantly, till 8 am on Monday, 2,060 new cases of corona infection were reported in the country. With this, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 4,46,30,888. While 10 more patients died due to infection, the death toll rose to 5,28,905. At the same time, the number of active patients in the country has increased to 26,834, which is 0.06 percent of the total cases.
