14 died, 40 passengers injured in bus accident in Madhya Pradesh's Rewa, bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur

Amidst the festive season, painful news of a road accident has come to light from Rewa in Madhya Pradesh. The happiness of the people returning home to celebrate Diwali turned into mourning when three vehicles, including a bus and a truck, collided with each other in the early hours of today. A total of 14 people have been reported dead in this accident, while about 40 people are injured. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed grief over the incident. The bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur.

Rewa SP Navneet Bhasin said that 14 people were killed, while 40 people were injured in a collision between a bus and a trolley near Suhagi hill in Rewa. Of the 40 injured in the accident, 20 were admitted to a hospital in Prayagraj (UP). The bus was going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur. All the people on the bus are reportedly residents of UP.

According to the information received, more than 100 passengers were on this bus going from Hyderabad to Gorakhpur. Most of the passengers who died in the accident are residents of Uttar Pradesh. More than 40 people have been injured in the accident, who have been admitted to a hospital in Prayagraj for treatment. It is being told that this accident happened due to the collision of three vehicles.

The local people present on the spot during the incident told that the accident happened due to lack of brakes. Many passengers got trapped in the bus during the accident. The incident was immediately reported to the police. The people trapped in the bus were pulled out with the help of the police who reached the spot. According to the police, there has been a horrific road accident due to the collision of bus and trolley near Suhagi hill in Rewa. At present, the families of the deceased and the injured have been informed about the accident. At the same time, the police has started taking further action in the matter.
