Shri Ram Janmabhoomi and the birthplace of Lord Ramlala will spread the shade of unmatched beauty this time regarding the Deepotsav. Special decoration of flowers has been done at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi for Deepotsav. Along with the native flowers are also being decorated with foreign flowers.

Artisans from outside are working continuously for decoration, in which a team of special artisans has been called from places like Mathura, Sitapur etc. Balkrishna Saini, who took the responsibility of decoration of this flower, said that these flowers have been brought from outside to decorate the place of Lord Ramlala. These flowers will be used for decoration of Ram temple, construction of gate with flowers and also in Rangolis.

For Rangoli, 6 quintal flowers, white, blue, yellow, purple and green leaf flowers have been specially used for decoration. For the decoration of Ram temple, 40 quintal marigold, 2 thousand bundles of gerbera flowers have been used. Apart from this, species of flowers like orchid, lily, denim, carnesan have been procured from Kolkata, Bangalore. Balkrishna Saini told that even before this event, he had done the work of decoration with flowers even at the time of Prana Pratishtha of Shri Ram Lalla.

Due to Deepotsav, the craze of tourists towards Ayodhya increased

Due to Deepotsav, there was tremendous branding of Ayodhya in the country and the world. Guinness World Record for lighting the lamp every year. Taking the global pandemic Corona as an exception, the number of domestic and foreign tourists coming to Ayodhya also increased. For example, during the first Deepotsav of 2017, the number of lamps burning on the ghats of Saryu was 1.71 lakh, then in 2018, 2019, 2021 and 2022 it increased to 3.01, 4.04, 6.06 and 9.41 lakh respectively. A Guinness World Record is created every year in terms of the number of lamps. The target is to light 15 lakh lamps this year. Preparations have been made for 17 lakh lamps.
