Indian Railways: Goods train crashes in Prayagraj Railway Division, trains originating from Bihar have been diverted
Up and down lines were disrupted due to derailment of some wagons of goods train at Ramwa station yard near Fatehpur, Prayagraj Division of Indian Railways on Sunday.
SponsoredUp and down lines were disrupted due to derailment of some coaches of goods train at Ramwa station yard near Fatehpur on Kanpur-Prayagraj section under Prayagraj Division of North Central Railway of Indian Railways on Sunday. Earlier, the route of nine trains including New Delhi-Patna Express passing through Central Railway has been changed. Virendra Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Poomre gave this information. He said that in view of the safety from the derailment of the goods train, the route of some trains running on this section has been changed.

- 04088 New Delhi-Patna Express departing from New Delhi on 23 October, 12506 Anand Vihar Terminus-Guwahati Express departing from Anand Vihar Terminus, 12488 Anand Vihar Terminus-Jogbani Express departing from Anand Vihar Terminus and departing from Anand Vihar Terminus To 03256 Anand Vihar Terminus-Patna Express changed its route Kanpur-Unnao-Unchahar-Varanasi-Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. route will be run.
The 15634 Guwahati-Bikaner Express departing from Guwahati on 22 October and 12987 Sealdah-Ajmer Express departing from Sealdah will be diverted via Prayagraj Chheoki-Manikpur-Veerangana Laxmibai (Jhansi)-Agra Cantt-Bandikui Junction.
- 02249 Patna-New Delhi Express departing from Patna on 23rd October, 03255 Patna-Anand Vihar Terminus Express departing from Patna and 15658 Kamakhya-Delhi Express departing from Kamakhya on 22nd October will be changed route Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn. - Will run via Varanasi-Unchahar-Unnao-Kanpur.
Routes of many trains changed
Himanshu Shekhar Upadhyay said that due to the accident, the route of many trains has been changed. He said that the Vande Bharat train from New Delhi to Varanasi is being run on the DFC route. Whereas, Amritsar to Patna train number 04076 is being operated on DFC route between Ruma to Sujanpur. Apart from this, the routes of Mahananda Express, Sambalpur-Jammu Tawi, Howrah Kalka Netaji Express, Bhubaneswar-Anand Vihar Terminal, Jogbani-Anand Vihar, North East Express trains have been changed.
