Actually, the Gujarat government has taken a big decision on the Uniform Civil Code on Saturday. The Gujarat cabinet has approved the formation of a committee to implement the Uniform Civil Code.

Gujarat Home Minister gave information

Giving information about this, Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has taken a historic decision in the cabinet meeting today. In the meeting, it has been decided to constitute a committee for Uniform Civil Code. Home Minister Harsh Singhvi said that the Gujarat cabinet has given permission to constitute a committee for the purpose of implementing the Uniform Civil Code.

There will be 3 to 4 members in the committee

At the same time, while giving information, Union Minister Purushottam Rupala said that the committee constituted for the implementation of Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in Gujarat will be headed by a retired High Court judge and will have three to four members. The Gujarat cabinet has authorized the Chief Minister for this and the CM will constitute this committee in the coming days.

BJP's big bet before elections

This decision of the Gujarat government is being seen on the cut of the demand of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, in which he has demanded to print the picture of Lakshmi and Ganesh on the country's currency. . At the same time, Union Minister Purushottam Rupala welcomed the decision of the Gujarat government and said that it is a big relief. Rupala said that a state has already taken steps towards Uniform Civil Code of Gujarat and now the state has decided to implement it. He said that Gujarat has somewhere started taking the country towards Uniform Civil Code.
