The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Ankita Bhandari murder case had sealed the area as there was massive protest across the country.

Ankita Bhandari Murder Case: A massive fire broke out in the factory of Pulkit Arya, son of former BJP leader accused of Ankita Bhandari murder case in Uttarakhand on Sunday. Videos and images show black smoke billowing out from the roof of the indigenous Ayurveda factory after the fire broke out. Please tell that this factory is located in Ganga Bhogpur of Rishikesh. However, the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Fire brigade teams and police officials are on the spot and efforts are on to control the fire.

The SIT had sealed the area

The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the Ankita Bhandari murder case had sealed the area as there was massive protest across the country. The main accused Pulkit Arya is the son of former minister Vinod Arya, who was expelled from the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after his son's name cropped up in the case.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has promised

At the same time, after several protests, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami promised that no one would be spared and a SIT was formed under the chairmanship of Deputy Inspector General P Renuka Devi to investigate all the aspects. The SIT constituted five teams to expedite the investigation of the case. Police is busy in getting to the bottom of the matter.

Ankita Bhandari used to work in Vanantara Resort

Let us tell you that the body of Ankita Bhandari (19), who worked in Vanantara resort of Pauri district of Uttarakhand, was found in the Chila canal near Rishikesh on September 25, 2022. The body was recovered six days after the police reported her parents missing. In this case, the owner of the resort Pulkit Arya has been considered as the main accused in Ankit's murder. Pulkit and his two associates are still under arrest and investigation is on in this case.
