Kantara has become a big hit in the local Kannada market. Its collection in Karnataka is Rs 143 crore. Its collection in Hindi is more than Rs 32 crore and more business is expected in the weekend. The film will not release on OTT on November 4
The massive success of the film at the ticket window sparked a discussion on social media about the release of the film on the OTT platform. It was also rumored on various social media platforms that the period action thriller 'Kantara' will release on OTT on November 4. But recently the makers denied these rumors outright. The producer of the film, Karthik Gowda, tweeted through his official Twitter handle that the film is not releasing on OTT anytime soon. "Wrong news! We'll let you know when it's coming out but definitely not on November 4th," he said.
