9 people were arrested in the case
Let us tell that the main reason for the sudden collapse of this swinging bridge located on the Machhu river in Morbi, Gujarat is being told that a large number of people are there. The rescue operation in this accident that happened on Sunday lasted till Monday. According to the latest information, all the survivors are being rescued. But after this accident, new security arrangements are being made in other places as well. Let us inform that SIT is investigating this and till now 9 people have been arrested in this case.
Rescue operation underway
Be aware that about 400 people were present on the bridge at the time of this incident which happened on Sunday. Out of which about 134 people lost their lives. Many of the remaining people have been rescued but, the relief and rescue work is still going on. Many other teams including Army, Navy, Air Force, NDRF, SDRF are engaged in this rescue operation. According to the latest information received, the rescue operation is still going on. Some people are still reported missing.
